5 ways medical surveillance benefits you

Medical surveillance will help you:

  1. Establish whether the candidate is physically and mentally suitable for the performance of the work requirements of the job.
  2. Establish a baseline of the employee’s health, against which you can measure any future changes in health.
  3. Identify possible risk of deterioration in the employee’s health status, which might be impacted by the job process and work environment.
  4. Identify abnormal trends in the health status of a targeted group of employees or of a single employee over time.
  5. Use any results obtained to highlight problem areas and to enable effective preventative strategies.
