Don’t let a negative employee cost you thousands

Dear Reader

Welcome to this week’s bulletin.

2009 has certainly started off at a frenetic pace for me! There’s been no chance to ease back into work and last week was a hectic, but successful one. Why any more busy than any other week, you might ask? Well, the reason is actually you!

I was busy finalising the new HR update and getting my “baby” off to print on time, so you’d have the information in your hands as soon as possible.

Here’s a quick preview of what you can look forward to receiving in Update 1 of 2009...

Do you have any of these problems in your company?

- High staff turnover
- Absence from work
- “Go slows” or employees cutting work hours short
- Non-performance
- Low mood or energy levels

If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these, you could have a problem with employee negativity. You must deal with it quickly and effectively before it affects your entire business. Here are a couple of quick tips to help you do just that:

Tip #1: Assess and address the root causes
Tip #2: Step up communication with staff
Tip #3: Provide a vision and purpose

Find out how to implement these and 14 other valuable tips on how to deal with employee negativity in your update. In addition, there are also chapters on building and maintaining staff loyalty, what to do if your employee’s absconded, conducting an effective induction for new employees and how to show a poor performer the door!

Until next time...
