Get paid to shop

By Pascale Barrow

I’ve sometimes been criticised for sending out “sensationalised” marketing…

Yes. That’s right. Occasionally I’ll get a letter from a reader saying something like: “You make these huge promises but I’ve heard about opportunities like these before – and they never work.”

Well, today I’d like to prove my sceptic readers wrong. You see, you CAN make decent money with minimal effort and I have many letters to prove it - here's one I received just last week...

In the February 2008 issue of What Really Makes Money Charl Collings revealed how to earn an extra income by becoming a mystery shopper. Well, imagine our pleasure when just a few weeks ago we received this letter… Here is the unedited letter as I received it...

Dear Charl,

I am a subscriber of What Really Makes Money and I have been receiving my monthly newsletters. I started to be member in 2008 and I decided to tackle the interesting and less difficult business ideas on WRMM.  Mystery shopper seemed to be the one and I immediately contacted companies that offer the business.

React Survey is the one that responded promptly while others kept on saying that they will come back to me. I was based in Pretoria by the time I started and I was doing all the Mc Donald’s. The lady from React Survey was really helpful; she explained to me each and everything that needs to be done.  She also provided me with examples/ samples from the previous reports done by other people.  At times it was hectic because I had to do 3 surveys in one week and you can imagine eating @ McDonald’s everyday, but I really enjoyed being there with my won mission while others were not aware what I am doing, including employees.

In December 2008 I got a new job in Rustenburg and informed React Surveys.  The good thing is I am now not only doing Mc Donald, but I was also allocated to do 2*Pick’n Pays as well as Mug n’ Bean in Rustenburg.  Your ideas are very real and good for an extra income, more especially in this bad economic situation one is facing.  I want to try another idea and I am looking forward to see what you have in store.  As I am writing to you I will be passing by PNP on my way home to do my assignments and on Monday I will be having my lunch @ Mc D!

Keep it up and let’s join hands & fight the poverty!!!!

Kind Regards

W. Ralekoa
