Will this bull have the balls to end his contract?
Labour Bulletin | 27 January, 2012 | Hot Topics:
Dear Reader,
If you love rugby as much as I do, today is an exciting day for you. Yes, at 12:00, SARU will announce the new Springbok coach. But the celebration fires might turn to ash quite quickly if the man, who’s expected to take over the reins from P Divvy, changes his blue coach cap to a green one.
The Blue Bulls Company confirmed earlier this week that SARU intends to appoint the Blue Bulls’ Executive of Rugby, Heyneke Meyer as the new Springbok coach. Understandably, the Blue Bulls are upset about the possible appointment as they appointed Meyer under a water-tight four-year contract. It’s likely that if Meyer gets the job, SARU will have to pay the Blue Bulls compensation for the three years still outstanding on his contract with the Bulls.
No doubt the Labour Departments at the Blue Bulls Company and SARU are waiting for the 12 ‘o clock announcement with bated breath.
And while we wait with them, let’s have a look at other labour news that made headlines this week:

There are good meetings and there are bad meetings. And then, once in a while, we get those really, really ugly meetings - screaming matches that often end with at least one resignation. Bad meetings drone on forever, you never seem to get to the point, and you leave wondering why you were even present. Good meetings, however, leaves you energised and feeling that you've really accomplished something.
