My name is Nic Best. I got started in the financial markets some 16 years ago and started, as many of us do, dabbling in a very small way – buying and selling penny shares. This was a great way to learn how markets moved up and down. But what I really wanted to do was trade more actively. It was this desire that led me to the field of spread trading, futures and warrants. As a part of the process, I sat and passed the Futures trader’s exam as well as the Stockbrokers exam - after taking a degree in finance and economics. In 1997, I started working as an analyst for a stockbroker. This gave me a lot of time to continue developing my own trading strategies. I love the thrill of short-term trading and I looking forward to helping you to maximise the potential to profit from the volatility in the stock market. Over the years, we’ve banked some great gains, with a fantastic gain of 680% in Merafe!
